Gardner (Gardy) Bloemers
The importance of and proximity to rivers has been a common theme in Gardy Bloemers’s life. She was born in a hospital on the banks of the Nieuwe Maas in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Subsequently she has lived and or worked a stone’s throw from the Mormon’s River, the Rhine, the Thames and currently the Rivanna River. Gardy actively enjoys the great outdoors and believes it essential that we protect one of nature’s great resources, WATER!
In addition to being a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, Gardy also serves as Secretary on the Board of the Virginia Horse Center Foundation, Inc. and President of the Charlottesville Chapter of the Virginia Dressage Association. She resides with her husband Nick Duke in Crozet, Virginia.
