(Director 2005-present; Advocacy Committee Chair) - Tatyanna has a Liberal Arts degree from the University of Virginia and has been politically active since 1984, having worked on various campaigns for Republican, Democratic, Green, and Libertarian candidates over the past 23 years. In the 1990s, she served as an ACLU Online manager and a content coordinator for Political Wag. In 2000, she co-founded TJMC-UU's NatureSpirit and, in 2001, Charlottesville's Earth Week festival, and has chaired Earth Week through the present. In that position, she serves as Earth Day International's affiliate/contact for Central Virginia. Locally, she has been involved with many social justice and environmental causes, including Compass Day Haven, expanded public recycling, and the Fair Wage Act. In addition to her extensive work with RCS, Tatyanna is a member of Charlottesville's Citizens Commission on Environmental Sustainability, serves on the steering committee for Arts 4 Bike Paths, and works with Public Policy Virginia, focusing on biofuels. True to her activist background, she is an avid follower and performer of folk music.
