Become a trained RCA Benthic Monitor!
Interested in becoming a volunteer benthic monitor? This training will cover the fundamentals of stream biological sampling – catching and identifying aquatic invertebrates for the purpose of evaluating water quality and stream health. No previous experience is needed. There are two date options available, and you must be able to attend both parts for each option!
Option 1: Two Days
Part 1: Wednesday, March 4th, 10 AM – 1 PM @ RCA office
Part 2: Wednesday, March 11th, 10 AM – 1 PM @ Camp Albemarle
