Join members of the Rivanna Forest Restoration Partnership for a volunteer workday in Darden Towe Park! Volunteers will be working in an area near the Lewis and Clark Exploratory Center to free our trees from invasive vines that harm our native canopy.
We will meet at the Lewis and Clark Exploratory Center, located at 1490 Darden Towe Park, Charlottesville, VA 22911. Please bring a water bottle, and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes to reduce your exposure to natural hazards in the working area. We also recommend bringing an outer layer to protect your arms. Halloween vibes are encouraged 🎃 (as long as it doesn’t get in the way of you or others during the workday).
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the entire workday.
This event is subject to change due to weather. If you have any questions, or sign-ups are closed, please email in**@**********er.org.
